Proximatey to the conferance I was attending.
location, pool, hot tub, exercise area, restaurant, ease of booking, immediate upgrade when our room was not ready at arrival, friendly staff. genrous parking areas.
Nice view and the kids liked the pool
Felt the place was dirty. Elavators were disgusting. Smelly rooms!
The staff was very friendly, the food was ok as most places in area close at 8:00p.m during off season but overall very good location and only 5 minutes driving distance from downtown Estes Park Colorado.
The bed was very comfortable, room was a good size, and the view was wonderful. Amenities were quite nice, too.
Quiet en friedly staff
The hotel was close to lake Estes and was easy access to the center of Estes Park.
All the staff was very friendly and accomodating to any request.
The location was good in terms of reaching everything we wanted to visit. We also spotted a herd of elk from the parking lot, which was very cool and unexpected. What we appreciated most was that the hoteliers gave us one more hour after their late check-in so that I could get my hair/makeup done before our wedding. Unfortunately, we were pretty nerve-wracked as to whether they would allow the extra hour or not because they wouldn't say so over the phone... In the end, we asked the front desk in person upon arrival and they agreed to extend the late check-out (which is at noon) to 1 o'clock. I just wondered why they couldn't just agree on the phone though to save us some anxiety on our big day??
We got a room next to the indoor pool, and I don't know if it was that or all the rooms, but the air felt recycled, humid and stuffy. Still, it wasn't so bad that it affected our stay. We just got used to it and enjoyed the nice beds. The place was clean and provided what we needed.
The room was comfortable. The armchair in the room was nice seating for our elderly parents. There were plenty of mirrors in the room and the décor was up-to-date. Our bathroom had plenty of towels and towel bars. The shampoos, etc. were large and of good quality. The pool was large and had plenty of seating around it. Dining room staff was friendly and helpful. One front desk person was new and not very knowledgeable, but a supervisor was able to help sort out the details of our complicated check in of a group if 37, staying in 13 rooms paid by four parties. The hotel was a good location for walking to shops or driving or shuttling to the national park.
We ordered a handicapped room for our parents, who are in their 80s. The room was good, but to get to the pool and lobby they had to do two flights of steps, or go down a long hall and outdoors where they needed to walk down the steep parking lot where no handrails were available. The breakfast buffet wasn't a good value. The hot foods were dried out and the steam trays were not kept well supplied. The facility mentioned an exercise room, but it had no equipment in it. Signage said there was a coke machine on each floor but we only saw one that didn't work. We are from lower elevation and were constantly looking for water. There should be complimentary bottled water in the room and water in the lobby. Complimentary morning coffee would have been a good thing for our group members. I asked 6 months in advance to have a meeting room for our group of 36. I was told they were all booked already. When we were at the hotel, there were NO groups using any of the rooms. I asked again at the desk, but was told they "were not available". No explanation was given.
Restaurant food and staff was excellent. Bed was very comfortable. View was outstanding.
Amenities such as WiFi would have been good. Bathroom was a bit crowded for 2 people.
According to Booked.net the beds were queen but they do not have queens at this hotel only doubles.
The beds were great, loads of restaurants around. The shuttle to the parks close by. The room s very large and clean, very comfortable. We love the area and had a great time.
The staff, we had trouble with the internet and they offered to move us to the main building..but they didn't have rooms, sent my husband to an occupied room...didn't tell the next shift we had moved...didn't send up the luggage...a whole mess....
The rooms were updated and comfortable and the location was good.
The hotel itself has definitely seen better days. There were broken sky lights leaking rain in the poorly lit pool area and anyone could access the hotel from the side door because the key card entry was broken. I thought it was over priced.
